Don Clampitt

Don Clampitt was born in 1957, son of Max and Mary Nell Clampitt, in Dallas, TX. After graduating from Highland Park High School in 1975, he attended the University of New Mexico and graduated in May of 1979.
Don began working at Clampitt Paper as a young boy but officially started in outside sales in 1980 and became Sales Promotions Manager in 1981, calling primarily on advertising agencies and design studios in the Dallas area. He then became Vice President of Marketing in 1989 and continued in this role until becoming President in 1994. Don worked closely with his father Max until his passing in 2001 and took over as Chairman and CEO. In 2011, Don’s daughter Meredith joined Clampitt Paper as the third generation in the company. She is now following in his footsteps working with advertising agencies and design studios in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
Working with his father for over 20 years and learning from a passionate visionary left a lasting impression on Don, he continues to have passion about his people and his paper leading to the tag line of Clampitt Paper, “The Paper People.”
