UNM Children’s Chorus
The UNM Children’s Chorus is a non-auditioned chorus serving boys and girls in the Albuquerque metro area between the ages 7 and 12. Any child who wishes to sing is welcome. The UNM Children’s Chorus is a program started in cooperation with the UNM Music Prep School and the UNM University Chorus, both groups seeing the need for an inclusive, artistically and intellectually challenging musical organization for children from throughout the city.
The group’s mission is to provide a vehicle for any interested child to pursue extraordinary choral music experience, regardless of the child’s musical background or socio-economic circumstances.
