Presidential Scholarship Program

Since 1976, more than 4,800 of New Mexico’s highest achieving and most committed high school graduates have attended UNM with the support of the Presidential Scholarship, one of the university’s most enduring and prestigious scholarships.

With an annual gift of $2,600, you will create your very own named Presidential Scholarship. This award is currently valued at over $13,000 with the help of our leveraged funds, and it covers a Scholar’s tuition, fees, books and more. As a Sponsor, you are matched with a Presidential Scholar, attend special invitation-only events, and have an opportunity to make a personal connection with the student whose life you are helping to change. Alternately, you may make a gift of any size to the UNM Presidential Scholarship Program and “Share a Scholar” with other generous donors.
