Special Projects in Cinematic Arts

This fund supports special projects and research for faculty and students in the Cinematic Arts Department at UNM. Currently, Associate Chair & Associate Professor of Cinematic Arts Department Deborah Fort is working on The Book of Ruth: An Improvised Life, a feature length documentary that explores the lifelong artistic passion and boundless curiosity of Ruth Zaporah, founder, performer and teacher of Action theater. Ruth started dancing as soon as she could walk and, 80 years later, she is still performing. Gifts to this fund will fund music, sound mix, color grading and initial distribution costs for this project.
