Summer Youth Sports Leadership and Learning Academy

The Summer Youth Sports Leadership and Learning Academy (SYSLLA) helps low-income parents in Bernalillo County keep their children and adolescents active, safe and engaged with new experiences in the summer. Weekdays, hundreds of energetic “campus campers” enjoy sports, games, hands-on STEM activities. They are guided by great role models –- UNM graduate and undergraduate students and community leaders. Every donor who makes a gift of $125 or more will “Send a Kid to Camp” and receive a photo from the camp.
