The framework of the certificate program was created by New Mexico partner agencies and organizations that clearly wanted to create a program at the university level for these dedicated professionals. The scholarship fund was established so that these people that work so hard for nonprofits all over New Mexico would have an opportunity to take these courses receive the certificate and be recognized for their accomplishments at a reasonable cost. The scholarship covers all costs of the certificate program but 100. That cost is covered by the student. The scholarship application requires an interest in helping others there is no financial information required of the applicant.
