UNM Hospitals Psychiatric Center

UNM Hospital Psychiatric Center is a public, not-for-profit facility providing the full spectrum of behavioral health care for thousands of New Mexicans annually. Established in 1967, the center offers 47 beds for adults and seniors and has evolved into the state’s largest community mental health care provider. Through your generous gifts we provide Recovery Model programming for our patients which includes, physical activity, art, games and music. We also provide patient care items such as hygiene products, food and clothing vouchers to our patients who are experiencing homelessness.
