Campus Substance Abuse Prevention Director’s Fund
Supports faculty, staff, and students at the Center on Alcoholism, Substance Abuse, and Addictions (CASAA) to conduct research on the prevention and treatment of alcohol and drug problems; develop new researchers; train community practitioners; and develop new service programs to prevent adverse consequences from the use of alcohol and other drugs.
College of Arts & Sciences Endowment for the Future

D.H. Dr. Thomas Williams Whaley Endowed Memorial Scholarship
Established in May of 2000, this scholarship is awarded to a full-time student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Chemistry, demonstrates academic achievement, demonstrates financial need for scholarship assistance, and is preferably a New Mexico resident.
Jackie Schlegel Endowment for Scribendi Journal
Scribendi is a nonprofit annual print publication of honors undergraduate students work. School of Medicine Dean’s Excellence Fund
This fund is used where needed most at the discretion of the Dean of the School of Medicine.
Statistics Consulting Clinic Fund
This fund is used to support expenses related to maintaining the Statistics Clinic, including student stipends, conference and travel expenses, and the creation and promotion of publications and research materials.
Student Veterans of UNM Fund

UNM Women’s Cancer Center Fund
The Women’s Cancer Center at the UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center provides compassionate, innovative care in a soothing, healing space dedicated to the needs of women and their families. The center offers medical oncology, radiation oncology, surgical oncology, gynecologic oncology, plastic and reconstructive surgery, genetic counseling providers, and other services in one convenient space.
Viens/Montoya Nurse Practitioner Fund
This fund was established in 2015 by Dr. Diane Viens, CFNP and Dr. Carolyn Montoya, CPNP to support Nurse Practitioner students, who need assistance with the costs associated with their clinical preceptorships in rural and under-served areas. Between the two of them they have over 70 years of experience as NPs.
